ENGAGE™ 8480 Polyolefin Elastomer is a high-density, high-rigidity ethylene-octene copolymer (C8-based POE) manufactured by Dow Inc. using INSITE™ metallocene technology. Supplied as pellets, it offers an exceptional balance of high flexural modulus, high tensile strength, excellent heat resistance, and good low-temperature impact — making it ideal for rigid TPO compounds, automotive parts, and cross-linked foaming. It is peroxide, silane, and radiation curable, delivering outstanding heat aging, compression set, and weather resistance when cross-linked.
