ENGAGE™ 8450 Polyolefin Elastomer is a high-density, high-clarity ethylene-octene copolymer (C8-based POE) manufactured by Dow Inc. using metallocene catalysis. Supplied as pellets without antiblock/slip additives, it offers an exceptional combination of high tensile strength, excellent flow characteristics, outstanding clarity (haze ~2%), and good heat resistance. It is peroxide, silane, and radiation curable — delivering exceptional heat aging, compression set, and weather resistance when cross-linked. It is widely used in general TPE, cross-linked foaming, wire & cable, and compounding applications.
