Lucene™ LC180 is a general-purpose ethylene-1-octene copolymer (C8-based POE) manufactured by LG Chem, South Korea, using its proprietary metallocene polymerization catalyst and solution process technology. Supplied as natural, transparent pellets, it is an excellent impact modifier for plastics offering unique performance for compounded products — high tensile strength, good clarity, high filler acceptance, excellent compression set, and low-temperature sealability. It complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520(c)(3.2c) for food-contact applications.
