Makrolon® RX1805 is high‑viscosity biocompatible polycarbonate specially optimized for gamma / e‑beam radiation sterilization medical devices. MVR 6.0 cm³/10 min @300 °C/1.2 kg, excellent melt strength for medium‑to‑thick‑wall transparent medical components. Meets ISO 10993‑1 and USP Class VI requirements, outstanding lipid resistance against fat emulsions, minimizes yellowing & embrittlement after multiple high‑energy radiation sterilization cycles. Also compatible with EtO and 121 °C steam autoclave. Only natural clear color available.
