AFFINITY™ GA 1900 is an ethylene-octene polyolefin elastomer manufactured by Dow Chemical with INSITE™ metallocene catalyst technology.
It features ultra-high melt flow (very low viscosity), low odor, low color, low tendency of charring and stringing during processing. Optimized for low-temperature hot melt adhesives operating at 135–150°C. It delivers excellent initial tack, stable bonding strength over wide temperature range and outstanding compatibility with tackifiers, waxes and various polyolefins.
It can also be used as a flow modifier, carrier resin for masterbatch and polyolefin compounding.
