AFFINITY™ PL 1881G is an ethylene-octene polyolefin plastomer (POP) manufactured by Dow Chemical utilizing advanced INSITE™ metallocene catalyst technology.
Formulated with built-in slip and antiblock additives, this grade is optimized for high-speed blown & cast flexible packaging film. It delivers ultra-low seal initiation temperature, outstanding hot tack, excellent seal-through-contamination performance and superior optical clarity.
It exhibits good puncture resistance, flex crack resistance and stable processability. Widely used as heat-seal layer for multi-layer coextrusion films.
