AFFINITY™ PL 1880G is an ethylene-octene polyolefin plastomer (POP) manufactured by Dow Chemical utilizing proprietary INSITE™ metallocene catalyst technology.
It is a neat base resin without built-in slip and antiblock additives. This grade delivers ultra-low seal initiation temperature, outstanding hot tack strength and reliable sealing performance even when contaminated by oil or powder. It features excellent optical clarity, good puncture resistance, tear strength and flex-crack resistance.
Suitable for both cast and blown multi-layer coextrusion films as heat-seal layer.
