AFFINITY™ PL 1280G is an ethylene-alpha-olefin polyolefin plastomer (POP) manufactured by Dow Chemical utilizing proprietary INSITE™ metallocene catalyst technology.
It is an additive-free neat resin without slip and antiblock agents. Designed as a high-performance sealant layer for high-speed form-fill-seal packaging lines. It features low seal initiation temperature, excellent hot tack strength, outstanding seal-through-contamination performance and superior optical clarity. It delivers good abuse resistance, puncture and flex-crack resistance for multi-layer coextruded films.
Suitable for cast film extrusion and polyolefin blending.
