AFFINITY™ GA 1000R is a maleic anhydride (MAH) functionalized polyolefin elastomer manufactured by Dow Chemical based on INSITE™ metallocene technology.
It features high grafting level, outstanding adhesion to hard-to-bond substrates, low odor and low volatility. It acts as an excellent polymer compatibilizer and base resin for hot melt adhesives.
It effectively improves interfacial bonding between non-polar polyolefins and polar polymers such as PA, EVOH, and metal substrates. Widely used in hot melt adhesives, multi-layer film tie layers, polymer alloy modification, packaging composite structures.
