AFFINITY™ EG 8200G is an ethylene-octene polyolefin plastomer (POP) manufactured by Dow Chemical using proprietary INSITE™ metallocene catalyst technology.
It is an additive-free neat grade without slip or antiblock agents. Compared with EG8100G, it features higher melt flow rate, offering easier processing for high-speed cast/blown film and polyolefin blending. It delivers excellent inherent cling property, ultra-low seal initiation temperature, outstanding elasticity, puncture resistance and superior optical clarity.
Suitable for stretch cling film, multi-layer coextrusion heat-seal layers, fresh food packaging and PP/PE impact modification.
